SG Natural is one of the oldest Megabass colors, first appearing in the early-to-mid 1990s on the initial production run of the Deep-X 100. “SG” stands for Super Ghost, the color family that came before today’s PM (Pearl Mica) line, and it later resurfaced in small numbers through the mid-90s and early 2000s on the original Vibration X, original Dog-X, and Deep-X200.
It aimed for a natural, small-baitfish color while still letting light pass through the body, a genuinely novel combination at the time that proved effective even on the wary, heavily pressured big bass of hard-fished lakes. That same translucency meant the internal hardware was fully visible through the body, though, which led Megabass to end production early — so on the Vision Oneten, original SG Natural has stayed a scarce, collector-grade color ever since.
