Megabass Vision Oneten
Vision Oneten Square Bill
The Megabass Vision Oneten Square Bill is a specialized variant of the legendary 110 jerkbait, distinguished by its unique rectangular lip designed for heightened water displacement and a sharper, more aggressive darting action. First introduced as a limited production run around 2012 to celebrate the “King of Jerkbaits” lineage, it was later reintroduced and manufactured in various iterations, including the saltwater-tuned (SW) versions that persisted into the mid-2010s. The square bill design allows the lure to bite the water more effectively than the traditional oval lip, resulting in a distinct power-jerk response that creates a violent, high-pitch rolling motion during the retrieve.
Aesthetically, the Square Bill model retains the high-end collectibility and intricate finishes the Oneten series is known for, featuring classic Megabass colorways like Ito Wakasagi and Elegy Bone. The application of this specific model is most effective when a more noisy underwater signature is required to trigger reaction strikes in slightly stained water or when fish are keyed into faster, more erratic prey movements. While the original Oneten is a master of the subtle suspend, the Square Bill’s construction allows for a more powerful presence that bridges the gap between a traditional jerkbait and a high-performance minnow.
