AB (Abalone)

In Megabass colors, AB stands for Abalone – otherwise known as mother-of-pearl. A natural color effect used by lure manufacturers. In Megabass lures, the natural abalone is internally mounted on a flat plate that runs the length of the lure. When the lure rolls from side to side, the plate generates a flashing effect with natural, subdued tones. Each abalone plate is unique and therefore harder for pressured fish to learn.
