Megabass Respect 48
PM Red Head is a long-running two-tone color across the Megabass saltwater lineup, and its history has earned it the nickname “the old color” among long-time anglers. On the bass side though, it’s rare — outside past limited runs, Griffon Zero was the only bass lure it had ever appeared on, and this reissue reproduces that Griffon Zero variation, which swaps the usual solid pearl-white base for a different shade with a gold scale pattern added across the back.
A red head looks bold from above, but underwater it actually shrinks a lure’s visual footprint, making it read as a smaller target without needing a smaller lure — useful when you want to match a small forage size without giving up the Vision Oneten’s action or casting distance. It’s also easy for anglers to track, which makes it a strong option during the low light of dawn and dusk or in night fishing.
