Last Dance

The Last Dance color is a highly expressive, limited-edition creation designed by Kanta Uemori, a visionary figure within the Megabass ecosystem. Diverging from the standard, natural baitfish patterns, this colorway utilizes a specialized silk skin finish that offers a milky, matte base designed to catch and diffuse light rather than reflect it harshly. The most striking feature is the hand-drawn gold line work along the flanks, which creates an organic, “hand-sketched” look that feels more like an artist’s canvas than a mass-produced lure. This is punctuated by a unique, deep-blue eye, a signature detail that provides a focused strike point against the otherwise ethereal, light-colored body.

Designed to be a “closer” in the most difficult clear-water conditions, the color is intended to represent the final, desperate movement of a dying prey item – the “last dance” before it is consumed. The combination of the translucent yellow-gold wash behind the head and the fine specks down the back allows the lure to blend into the water column during a steady retrieve, only to reveal its intricate, high-contrast gold patterns during the snap of a jerk. While most notably recognized as a rare collector’s color for the POPX, its application to the Vision Oneten has made it a favorite for finesse anglers who require a presentation that remains “alive” even when the lure is completely paused.
