Megabass GP Billy Max Vision 110
Megabass Respect 18

Few anglers have ever heard of GP Billy Max, and that’s because it isn’t really a retail color at all — it was created in 1999 as a tie-in for “Bass Rise,” a PlayStation bass-fishing game made through a collaboration between Bandai and Megabass. A Vibration X painted in this color was offered as a contest prize for the game, and it has never been sold to the public before or since, making it one of the rarest colors in the entire Respect Color lineup.

The base Billy Max design was originally built around deep-bodied bait like bluegill, and its roots go back even further than that, to the early “sticker-eye” era of Megabass lures. Given how little of it has ever circulated, this Vision Oneten reissue is as much a piece of Megabass history as it is a working color, suited to structure and deep-bodied forage the way the original Billy Max concept intended.
