SRG is a rare SP-C, special run color that was produced by Megabass for Rebass.jp, an Osaka-based, Japanese retailer of outdoor goods, including fishing tackle. Regrettably, Rebass.jp is no longer trading, making this colorway a rare and interesting piece for any Megabass or Vision Oneten collection. Aesthetically, this lure features a predominantly pearl body with a high glitter finish. There is an orange highlight on the chin. The high contrasting back is dark green, almost black. Three key features set the bait apart from other Megabass colorways. The bright red Rebass.jp logo is featured on each flank, with the company’s web address “www.rebass.jp” printed in black on the side of the tail. The most outstanding feature is the bright red leading edge to the lip.
Given the highly limited and unique nature of this Vision Oneten colorscheme it is unlikely that many anglers will fish with it. But actually, the design is highly suited for low light conditions or heavily stained water conditions. The flank to back contrast is one of the strongest combinations we have seen, making it super applicable to the Vision Oneten’s flanking nature. The red accents on the flank an lip act as strong trigger zones, focusing predatory strikes on the head area.
