GC Wakasagi CH

GC Wakasagi CH builds on the long-running Megabass Wakasagi pattern, based on the small, schooling Japanese pond smelt found in lakes across the country, but finishes it with a pinkish, silvery body, an olive back, and a fine scale pattern that catches light as the bait rolls. ‘CH’ undoubtedly stands for Chartreuse Head here, and sets this colorway apart from the more muted, straight-silver Wakasagi patterns found elsewhere in the catalog.

GC Wakasagi CH is built for lakes and reservoirs where wakasagi or other small silver baitfish are the primary forage, particularly during the cooler months when these smelt shoal tightly in open water and predatory fish keep station beneath them. A steady retrieve with occasional pauses suits the pattern well, letting the silver flank and olive back mimic a smelt gliding just off a drop-off or suspended over deeper structure. The chartreuse head offers the angler a clear visual indicator.
