The Ito Gori is a unique, natural-transparent color pattern from Megabass, re-released as a highly collectible Respect Series color, drawing its name and inspiration from the Gori and Yoshinobori species of freshwater goby. Its aesthetic is defined by a clear, watermelon-color body that gives it a rare and natural transparency among hard baits, allowing the lure to take on the subtle colors of its surroundings. The pattern is a “factory-tuned” version of the earlier Hakusei Muddy Gori Copper, distinguishing itself with a more natural clarity that allows for greater versatility in various water conditions.
Originally designed for crankbaits like the Live X Leviathan and Deep X series to imitate bottom-dwelling baitfish, the Ito Gori color is exceptionally effective for bass that are relating to or feeding on forage near the bottom. Its greatest application strength lies in fields with abundant weeds or submerged vegetation, as the lure’s clear body changes color in tune with the surrounding environment, creating an incredibly realistic imitation of a natural baitfish moving through the grass.
